He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel F. Grimes (Lyons); his brothers, Forrest, Warren and Lester Grimes; and his parents, George Grimes and Gladys Grimes (Walker).
He is survived by: his son Donald Grimes (Sharon) of Brookfield; his grandsons, Derek and Brett Grimes; and his sister Edna Thresher (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
