It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Shailer (Brookfield, Massachusetts), born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Sharon Penta; and her parents, Theodore K. Howes and Evelyn L. Howes (Philbrick). She is survived by: her husband Paul W. Shailer; her children, Stuart P. Shailer of Brookfield, Karen E. Jourdenais (Mark) of Southbridge and Valerie L. Bigwood (Everett) of Washington State; her grandchildren, Corinne, Benjamin, Hanna and Carolin; and her sister Janice Pratt (Robert) of Ware. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
