He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Madden and Beatrice Madden (Bilodeau). He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Fountain of Middleboro, Karen Burns of Brockton and Stephen Madden of Carver; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Madden of Carver, David Fountain of Florida and Harry Burns of Brockton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
