He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schoener and Mary Elizabeth Schoener (Kennedy); and his brother Donald Young. He is survived by: his sister Suzanne Schoener; his daughters, Kimberly Smith (Nickolas), Jessica Schoener, Katelyn Bernabeo and Jillian Schoener; the mother of his children Diane Schoener; his grandchildren, Amara, Kennedy, Sydney, Jacob, Olivia, Arian, Grady, Colton, Isadora, Victor and Tiegan; his brother Edward Schoener; and his niece Colleen Hynes.
