It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Cerrato of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gaetano Cerrato and Della Cerrato (Querleno); his wife Dorothy Cerrato (Johnson); his children, Anthony Cerrato, Lynne Florindo, Michael Cerrato, Judianne Mckay (James Mckay) and Suzanne Marie Cerrato; his grandchildren, Amanda Regan (Paul Regan), Dylan Marcal (Alex Marcal), Steven Florindo, Allison Cerrato, Darren Lachance Jr. and Ryan LaChance; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Aiden, Aria Regan, Andrew and Larya LaChance; his sisters, Rose J. Pittella and Lucy (Harold Bonaparte); and his children, Haley and Cody Stephens.

“I would like to extend my condolences to Sam’s and Dotties’ families for the passing of Sam. He will be missed by many. I am a close friend of Dotties” sister Barbara. I.met Barb’s family in the 1980’s, I have very few people in my family and I was so overwhelmed by so many people. I really enjoyed each year visiting them Sam became my singing partner because we harmonized so well. I am glad I was able to see Sam and Dottie last year. I will always remember our visits with them. Mimi Andrews.”
