She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Szymkiewicz; her daughter Kathy Ann Szymkiewicz; her brother William Mencke; and her brother-in-law Joseph Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Janet (Russel Birtwistle) of Powder Springs and Joseph Szymkiewicz of Brockton; her grandsons, Marc Birtwistle and Brian Birtwistle (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Rylee, Cian Birtwistle, Camryn, Caleb and Jace Birtwistle; and her nieces and nephews, Carol McGrath, Linda Kennedy and Beverly Simmons.
