She is survived by: her son David Rittenberg (Jason Rittenberg) of Fall River; and her grandchild Willy J. Rittenberg of Fall River. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

She extended her advocacy statewide and national, serving as board member at the Massachusetts Union of Public Housing Tenants Inc. , from 1990 - 2010. She was well known and respected. She continued her advocacy until her last days.. Jack Cooper”
