He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Mathis, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Wilhelmina Mathis; his wife Audrie A. Mathis; his children, Robert Mathis, III and Ashley Mathis; his grandson Quincy; and his siblings, William Mathis, Kenneth Mathis, Lawrence Mathis, Mark Mathis (Claudia), Veronica Jackson (John), Debra Mathis, Renee Francis (Scott) and Nikkole Mathis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
