In loving memory of Michael P. Loftus of Brockton, Massachusetts, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who departed this world on July 21, 2024 at the age of 65. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Loftus and Patricia Loftus; his children, Jamie and Benjamin Loftus; his sisters, Jane Burton and Kate Hughes; his nieces, Emily Coleman, Hannah Burton, Molly Burton, Caroline Hughes and Crystal LeBretton; and his nephew Griffin Hughes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Red Cross – he was a self-professed "avid bleeder for the cause.".
