She is survived by: her husband Gabriel Jean-Marie, Sr.; her son Gabriel Jean-Marie, Jr.; her stepchildren, Regis Jean-Marie (Abiola) of Boston and Rachel Jean-Marie; her grandchildren, Isaiah Jean-Fontaine and Sienna Jean-Marie; and her siblings, Jackson Fields, James Darby Fields (Lindsa) and Evelyn Fields. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Beyond her career, Susie's life was enriched by her philanthropic contributions to a variety of causes including the American Cancer Society, St. Jude, Easterseals, & Alzheimer's Association, just to name a few.
