With solemn reverence, we commemorate Margaret Joan (Batt) Poreca of Brockton, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on November 7, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Batt and Edith Batt (Meades); her former husband John F. Poreca; and her sisters, Doris Marcinkus and Edith Terranova.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (Scott Leavitt), Vernon Harrison (Michelle), George Harrison and Tessie (Paul Cirignano); her stepchildren, Sharon Poreca and Steven Poreca; her spouse Princess Diana; and her cousin Len. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
