He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Godsoe and Vera Godsoe (Thomas); his wife Gloria L. Godsoe (Barnard); his son Robert Godsoe (late Judi) of Brockton; and his sister Patricia "Patty" Sargent.
He is survived by: his children, Debbra Long of Middleboro, Sandra Murillo (Chiva) of Norwood and Eric Godsoe (Susan) of Brockton; and his sister Margaret E. "Peggy" Cerce of Norton. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
