He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Youssef Matta and Najla Matta (ElKozeh); his wife Nancy J. Matta (Zaccaro); his sons, Joseph M. Matta of Brockton and Michael K. Matta (Andrea) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Page and Jace Matta; and his siblings, Carol Saad (late Alfred) of Brockton, Marie ElKozeh (late George) of Canada, Rafca Khoury (Massoud) of Lebanon and Rafic Matta (Vera) of Bridgewater. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 N. Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
