He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McNay and Helen McNay (Whalen); and his sister Joanne (Robert Curley) of Scottsdale Arizona. He is survived by: his sibling River; his wife Carol A. McNay (Adams); his children, James J. McNay (RoseAnna) of Framingham, Kevin J. McNay (Nancy) of Ashland and Cheryl A. Cutler of Lowell; his grandchildren, Bridget, Alison, Kristy and Justin; his great grandchildren, Jelani, Kayleigh and Kyle; and his brother Robert (Dorothy McNay) of Tewksbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old South United Methodist Church (6 Salem St, Reading, MA 01867).
