He is survived by: his wife Emilia Depina; and his children, Maria Depina (Francisco Pires), Suzete Depina (Manuel Andrade), Sandra Depina (Joao Fonseca), Aguiar Depina, Pedro Depina and Domingos Depina. He is also survived by 6 siblings, 28 grandchildren, 5 great grand-children and nieces and nephews.
