He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Dos Santos and Emelia Cruz Santos; and his daughter Emelia Barros Santos. He is survived by: his wife Maria Santos; his children, John Alves, Benilde DaSilva (Antonio) of East Providence and Constancia DaSilva (Eugenio DaSilva) of Providence; his grandchildren, Sara, Veronica, Tony, Christopher, Nicholas and Jailyn; and his sisters, Maria Dos Santos Rodrigues and Severa Santos Aires. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and extended family.
