He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Wentworth; his sons, William K. Wentworth (Robyn) of Quincy and James Wentworth Jr.; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Wentworth of Abington; and his siblings, Robert and Geraldine.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacKinnon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (760 Washington St, Whitman, MA 02382). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Old North Cemetery (126 Norton St, Weymouth, MA 02191).
He was always giving to charity, had a great sense of humour, was easy to get along with, possessed a great spirit and was well liked by those he worked with.
