Isabel Rosa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Isabel Rosa of Brockton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Isabel leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Severino Jose (Rosa) and Amelia Cabral (DePina); and her son Manuel Goncalves. She is survived by: her children, Joao Goncalves, Clarinda Goncalves and Martina Goncalves. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Lopes Funeral Home-Brockton (647 Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edith Stein Parish (71 E Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Melrose Cemetery (88 N Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301).
