He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Flaherty and Francine Flaherty (Cormier); and his siblings, William "Richard" Flaherty and Thomas Flaherty. He is survived by: his wife Arlene M. Flaherty (Flaherty); his son Joseph Flaherty (Kelly) of Brockton; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Aiden and Riley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
