She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Mendes and Mariana Fernandes. She is survived by: her children, Pedro Fernandes of Ohio, Mariana Fernandes of Ohio and Samira Fernandes of Brockton; her siblings, Mario Cabral, Enrique Mendes, Fatima Fernandes, Dulce Mendes and Manuela Mendes; her granddaughter Aaliyah Fernandes; and her nephew Gilberke Franca.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel (238 Court St, Brockton, MA 02302). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edith Stein Church (71 E Main St, Brockton, MA 02301).
