It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Rudy of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rakawsky and Stella Rakawsky (Yestmont); her husband Charles S. Rudy Jr.; and her sister Mary H. (George Remedis). She is survived by: her siblings, Joseph Gilback, Stanley Gilbert, John and Barbara Remedis. She is also survived by family members and their children and grandchildren.

“Esther and Charlie, her husband, were my godparents, They were always so good to me not only when I was a child but also when I was married later in life. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. I tried to call her over the last few years but got no answer. Esther was like a sister to my mother. They were basically raised together by my grandmother so they were really close and after my mother passed away, Esther was devastated. I so wish that she passed without pain and suffering.”
