Elpis M. Pappas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elpis M. Pappas of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Elpis M. had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Elpis M. may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Demetrios Tremmas and Melpomeni Tremmas. She is survived by: her husband Michael C. Pappas (Papadimopoulos); her daughters, Paula Pappas and Marilyn Pappas-McAllister; her son-in-law Mark McAllister; her grandson Alexander Michael Pappas-McAllister; and her brother Dionysios Tremmas. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (457 Oak St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
