He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Baker Sr.; and his sister Monique Williams. He is survived by: his mother Donna Ghess; his siblings, Rodney Williams, Dedrick Williams, Milton Moore, Quintin Wesley, Lavell Wesley, Shane, Tiffany Rivera and Stephen Kornegay; his children, Dalisa Gonsalves and Donte Gonsalves; and his granddaughter Avaya Marrero. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a Go Fund Me entitled "Support the Children of Bernard Baker Jr.".
