He was predeceased by: his parents, Christiano Docanto and Maria Monteiro; and his daughter Angela Gomes. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda V. Docanto; and his children, Tony Baptista, Linda Baptista, Christina Docanto and Christiano Docanto.
