He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine R Stanton (Blake); and his daughter Sally B. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Richard H. Stanton Jr. (Melanie), Michael E. Stanton, Lorraine "Dolly" Goodreau (Lawrence), Heidi A. Deschenes (Andre) and Becky E. Stockman. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and had many great-grandchildren.
