We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 77, John Ford Hilker of Brimfield, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Ford Hilker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Donald Hilker and Alice Hilker. He is survived by: his wife Susan S. Hilker; his children, Jacob Hilker of Westford, MA, Sarah Hilker of Greece, Sandy Sutherland of Falmouth, MA and Delia Brower (Chad); and his siblings, Jennifer Hilker-Blair, Jeffery Hilker of California, Donna Hoeszle and James Hilker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces/nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombard Funeral Home (3 Bridge St, Monson, MA 01057). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Brimfield (20 Main St, Brimfield, MA 01010). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brimfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brimfield Fire Association, the Brimfield Congregational Church, or Scout Troop 7 in his memory.
