He was predeceased by: his siblings, Virginia Kuster, Patricia Noel, Barbara Cheney, James Arthur and Kathy DiCarlo; and his parents, Edward Arthur and Pearl Arthur (Dean).
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Arthur (Ryan); his sons, Sean Arthur and Patrick Arthur (Cailin); his grandchildren, Raymond, Ryan, Seamus and Connor; and his brothers, Patrick Arthur and Michael Arthur (Elaine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Church (573 Washington St, Newton, MA 02458). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ray may be made to the American Cancer Society.
