It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Butler of Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bud" Butler; and her siblings, Gertrude Neenan, Francis, Arthur Jr. and John Leary.

She is survived by: her children, Julianne "Julie" Butler of Dorchester and Robert "Bobby"; her grandchildren, Casey Horan (Sean), Micaela Ratcliffe, Eric, Thomas, Jessica Butler, Caragh Gentilucci, Jamie Long, Kaitlynn Butler and Seth; and her siblings, Robert Leary, Roberta Leary and Ed O'Leary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs Butler may be made to the Boston Police Relief Fund 1249 Hyde Park Ave Hyde Park, MA 02136.
