She was predeceased by: her grandson Pierre; her child-in-law Amine Nassif; and her parents, Allan Dash and Geraldine Dash (Clapper). She is survived by: her husband Edward Burns; her children, Deborah McCusker (Chris Daly) of Brighton, Denise Rigg (Wayne) of Lowell, Susan Nassif (Raul) of Brighton and David Burns of Worcester; her grandchildren, Edward of Deana, AJ, Khalil, Lily, Melissa, Michael and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Bentley, Antonio and Ariana; and her siblings, Archie, Jane, Robert, Beverly, George, Jimmy, Merriman, Richard and Mary.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery (670 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
