She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathy Gallagher; and her siblings, Mary Gill, Muriel O'Shaughnessy, Denis and Matthias Geoghegan.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Gallagher; her children, Dennis Gallagher (Anita) of Austin, TX, Joseph Gallagher (Allison) of Oro Valley, AZ and Thomas Gallagher (Matt) of Waltham, MA; her grandchildren, Claire, Hayley, Kate and Sophia Gallagher; and her siblings, Bridget Rafferty, Nora Ryan, Patrick and Thomas Geoghegan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Columbkille Church (321 Market St, Brighton, MA 02135). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the St Joseph Cemetery (990 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132).
