It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McCarthy of Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel J. McCarthy, Sr. and Anna McCarthy (Barry). He is survived by: his siblings, Mary McCarthy (Liz Breadon) of Brighton, Helen Tuohy of Medford, Dan McCarthy (Jill Izett) of Newton and Henry McCarthy (Yvelyne Germain) of New Orleans, LA.; his nephews, Brian McCarthy of Brooklyn, NY, Mark McCarthy (Miley) of Chicopee, MA, Julian McCarthy (Rachel Centineo) of New Orleans, LA and Germain McCarthy (Catherine Woodyard) of Washington, DC; and his great-nephew Logan Izett McCarthy of Chicopee. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name can be made to the charity of one's choice.
