He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Janes, Francis and John Donovan; and his parents, Joseph Donovan and Rita Donovan.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Patterson (William) of West Roxbury; his grandchildren, Mac, Hayes and Violet Patterson; and his siblings, Joseph Donovan (Mary), Patrick Donovan (Janet) of Newton, Peter Donovan (Regina) of Melrose, Margaret Donovan (Jimmy Gibbons) of Lexington and Catherine Stepchin (Richard) of Melrose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
