With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne E. Sylvia (Bridgewater, Massachusetts), born in Edgartown, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoleon Berube and Elizabeth Berube (Averill); her husband Albert K. Sylvia; her brothers, Donald Berube, Edmund Berube and Rodney Berube; her son Edmund Sylvia; and her great grandchild Olivia Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Hanola Burnham of Maine, Kelsey Sylvia (Debora) of Vineyard Haven, Brian Sylvia (Joanne) of Edgartown and Elizabeth Mello of Vineyard Haven; her grandchildren, Eric Steigelman, Christopher Steigelman, Kimberly Miller, Andrew Sylvia, Garrett Sylvia, Leigh Sylvia, Ariel Thomas, Craig Sylvia, Jacob Sylvia, Jeffery Sylvia, Adam Mello, Ryan Mello, Jason Mello and Angela Mello; and her great great grandchild Nicholas Steigelman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
