He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene Gallagher (Vasapollo) of Bridgewater; his son Sean P. Gallagher (Doreen Nansubuga) of Bridgewater; his granddaughter Melody Gallagher; his sister Stephanie Rooney (John) of Easton; his parents, Robert J. Gallagher and Stephanie A. Gallagher (Chura); his nieces and nephews, Brian Rooney, Colleen Rooney, Maureen Burke, Kevin Rooney, Arianna Bregoli, Kathleen Smith and Derek Lynch; and his siblings-in-law, Jayne Johnson (Bob), Ruthe Lynch (John) and Claire Vasapollo (Katherine Boone). He was also cherished by many other extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of RJ may be made to the Alzheimer's association or to the ASPCA.
