With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen T. Simmons (Bridgewater, Massachusetts), born in South Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen T. Simmons to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Flaherty and Joseph Gannon; and her siblings, Muriel Tracey, Joseph, William and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Medairos (Simmons) of Raynham Ma, Patty Sperber (Simmons) of Raynham Ma, Kelly Donovan (Tim Donovan) of Bridgewater Ma, Peggy Meighan (Ed Meighan) of Merrimack, NH and Maura Mathias (John Mathias) of Morris, IL.; her siblings, Marybeth Gannon, Denise Gannon, Peggy McCoy and Paula McDonough; her grandchildren, Michael Penzo, Eric Penzo, Dylan Medairos, Cody Medairos, Sara Sperber, Andrew Wilkinson, Gregory Wilkinson, Hillary Demelo, Conor Meighan, Shannon Meighan, Canyon Kenny and Rane Kenny; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Penzo, Samuel Penzo, Paetyn Wilkinson, Jace Wilkinson and Carson Demelo. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and was excited for the arrival of her 6th great grandchild.
Visiting hours with Covid-19 restrictions will be held Saturday February 20th from 10:00 -12:00 noon in the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Tufts Medical Center Pulmonary Research Fund.
