Janis E. Cappiello Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis E. Cappiello of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnt Sundseth and Stella (Cohen); and her husband Louis J. "Sonny" Cappiello, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Cappiello (Shantell) of Brockton, Michael Cappiello (Danielle) of Bridgewater and Sarah Black (William) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Camila, Zachary, Christopher, Dominic, Layla and Madelyn; her siblings, Arnt Sundseth (Millie) of North Carolina and David Sundseth (late Sue) of Brockton; her siblings-in-law, Diane, Arthur Wilbur of Taunton, Mary Cappiello, Dennis of Raynham, James Cappiello of Dighton, Donald, Alexandra Cappiello of Taunton, Robert Cappiello of Pawtucket and Brian Leary (late Maryann) of Brockton; and her pets, Monica and Mickey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Bridgewater (98 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA 02324). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Melrose Cemetery N. Pearl (88 N Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301).
