He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James Holland; his wife Joan Holland (DeCoste); and his children, Ed Holland (Marcia), Donna Simonetti (Donald), John Holland (Deborah) and James Holland Jr. (Dawn). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Brockton Visiting Nurse Association.
