He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Sullivan and Ethel Sullivan (Woods); and his son Alan. He is survived by: his wife Margret "Dawn" Walsh; his brother Dennis (Anna); his sons, Terrance (Jennifer), Scott and Timothey (Kenny Burt); and his grandsons, Jack Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, Matthew Johnson and Scott Sullivan Jr. Al's.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Al's memory to St. Jude.
