He is survived by: his sons, Daniel P. Shyne (Melissa) of Easton and Andrew M. Shyne of Bourne; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Shyne of Easton, Lila Shyne of Easton, Sarah Shyne of Easton and Theodore Shyne of Vermont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
