He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest C. DeSilva and Mary DeSilva (Lema); his wife Barbara Gail DeSilva; and his siblings, Herman DeSilva and Alberta Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Ann Bowman of Buzzards Bay, Heatherlee Vermette of West Yarmouth and Peter R. DeSilva of Hanover; his grandchildren, Tyler J., Morgan A. Vermette, Dayna E. Bowman and Matthew H. DeSilva; and his sister Rachel Cordeiro.
