He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice R. Hayes and Kathleen Hayes (Connaughton). He is survived by: his wife Sally Hayes (Willard); his daughters, Lisa Salvucci (Daniel) of Driggs, Idaho and Meredith Hayes (Jeff Kercher) of Santa Rosa, CA; and his sister Mary Hayes of Saugus.
