He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Scanlon and Alice Scanlon; and his brothers, John and Michael Scanlon. He is survived by: his significant other Claire Halpin; his children, Dr. Jennifer Scanlon and Christopher Scanlon; his brother Mark Scanlon; and his stepdaughters, Kristienne Brandon, Danielle Knois and Laura Amick. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and ten cherished grandchildren.
