She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Vilar and Julia Vilar (Almeida); and her siblings, Ramon Vilar, Victoria Souza, Laura Gomes and Olga Stone.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Robert Souza (Arlene), Edward Souza (Sherrie) of Brockton, Cherylann Popp (Stephen) of Weymouth, Brenda Sheridan, Bridgewater and Bernadette Tricomi (Robert).
