He was predeceased by: his son Larry Pawlik of Weymouth, MA. He is survived by: his family Bob; his siblings, Joe, John, Maureen, Dan and Brian; his sisters-in-law, Anne Walters of Abington and Brigette Fitzgerald; and his children, Lisa, Peter Fitzgerald (Janice) of Lewiston Maine, Scott Fitzgerald (AnnaMarie) of Brockton, MA, James Fitzgerald of Brockton, MA, Christine Fitzgerald (Kristen) of Brandon, FL and Patricia Petitti (Mark) of Braintree, MA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Home of Robert William Fitzgerald (62 Trefton Dr, Braintree, MA 02184).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, honoring his memory and his strength in the face of adversity.
