He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Bloom (Applebaum) and Jack Bloom; and his brother Irving Bloom of Fairlawn, NJ.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Bloom (Welsh); his daughters, Stacey Bloom (Steven Ostrovitz) of Braintree and Susanne Bloom (late Neil Kosak) of Duxbury; his grandchildren, Jack Bloom and Sophie Ostrovitz; and his sister Anita Raymond of Ashdod.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel (475 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A shiva was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills (18 Shoolman Way, Milton, MA 02186).
