Richard S. Skowyra Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard S. Skowyra of Braintree, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard S. Skowyra to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Skowyra and Ruth Skowyra (Juke). He is survived by: his wife Felicia Skowyra (Marut); his sons, Richard S. Skowyra II (Beth) of Whitman and Aaron J. Skowyra (Sheila) of South Weymouth; his grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Julia and Ella; and his sisters, Cynthia (Eric Kaplan) of Gloucester and Laurie (Louis Reid) of Belchertown. He is also survived by his nephew, nieces and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Parish (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
