He was predeceased by: his father Richard C. Assmus; and his sister Virginia A. Assmus. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn L. Assmus (DiTullio); his sons, Brian P. Assmus (Tina) of Braintree and Kevin M. Assmus (Beth) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Kade, Lucy, Dylan, Ryan and Reid; his siblings, Kathleen E. Assmus of Fla and Frederick S. Assmus of Weymouth; and his sister-in-law Luann Hamill (Tom) of Plymouth.
