She is survived by: her children, William Sweeney III (Marianne) of Braintree, Sean Sweeney (Melissa) of Braintree, Brian Sweeney (Kristen) of South Windsor, CT, Margaret Krippendorf (Edward) of Braintree, Ethel, Dawley (Christopher) of Braintree and Kevin Sweeney (Lauren) of Braintree; her grandchildren, Megan, Abby, Lizzie Sweeney, Liam, Kate Sweeney, Daniel, Ryan, David Sweeney, Maggie, Eddie, Sean Krippendorf, Shannon, Jimmy Dawley, Kevin Barry, William and Patrick Sweeney; and also Irish. She is also survived by her kids and grandchildren, her dedication to her family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (856 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
