He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Twomey and Maureen T. Twomey (O'Shea). He is survived by: his wife Edith Twomey (Trocki); his son John "Jacky" Twomey; and his siblings, Maureen P. Saunders of St. Petersburg, FL and Neil J. Twomey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
