He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen F. Fitzgerald (Higgins); and his sisters, Suzanne Madden (Thomas Madden) and Katherine Kofnovec (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Carol Fitzgerald of Plymouth, Jack Fitzgerald, III (Sharon) of Braintree, Laurie Hannigan (Paul) of Braintree and Brian Fitzgerald (Linda Cugini) of Rehobeth; his grandchildren, Joseph, Brendan Patrick, Jamie, Jake, Patrick, Kaleigh and Danny; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Higgins (Jacqueline) of Marstons Mills, James Higgins (Carol) of Hanover and John Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack's name to the Jesuit community at Campion Center, 319 Concord Rd, Weston, MA 02493.
